RaceAiPro Privacy Policy

RaceAi Inc. ("we," "our," or "us") operates the RaceAiPro platform, including the RaceAi Radio mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our race team communication and telemetry services.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

  • Username and password (passwords are encrypted using industry-standard BCrypt hashing)
  • Display name and team role (driver, spotter, crew chief, engineer)
  • Team assignment and device serial number

Voice Communications

  • All voice communications transmitted through RaceAi Radio are recorded and stored. This includes push-to-talk conversations between drivers, spotters, crew chiefs, and other team members.

Device Information

  • Device type and operating system version
  • Biometric authentication status (we do not store biometric data itself - this is handled securely by your device)

Telemetry Data

  • Vehicle telemetry data transmitted through RaceAiPro systems
  • GPS location data during race sessions
  • Lap times and performance metrics

2. How We Use Your Information

Voice Recording and AI Analysis

Important: Voice communications are recorded and processed for the following purposes:

  • AI-Powered Coaching: Recorded audio is analyzed by artificial intelligence and large language models (LLM) to provide performance insights, coaching recommendations, and race strategy analysis.
  • Session Review: Teams can review past communications for training and debriefing purposes.
  • Service Improvement: Aggregated, de-identified data may be used to improve our AI coaching capabilities.

Account and Authentication

  • To verify your identity and provide secure access to team communications
  • To enable biometric login for faster, secure access
  • To enforce login security (rate limiting and lockout after failed attempts)

Service Operations

  • To route communications to the correct team channel
  • To maintain service reliability and troubleshoot issues

3. Data Storage and Security

Where Data is Stored

  • Account data: Secure PostgreSQL databases hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Voice recordings: Amazon S3 storage with encryption at rest
  • All data is stored in the United States (AWS US-East region)

Security Measures

  • All communications are encrypted in transit using TLS/SSL (HTTPS/WSS)
  • Passwords are hashed using BCrypt with a work factor of 12
  • Biometric credentials are stored securely in your device's hardware-backed keystore (Android Keystore)
  • Access to recordings is limited to authorized team members and system administrators

Data Retention

  • Voice recordings are retained for the duration of your team's active subscription plus 12 months
  • Account information is retained while your account is active
  • Upon account deletion or subscription cancellation, data is deleted within 90 days

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Data may be shared only as follows:

  • Within Your Team: Voice communications are shared with members of your assigned racing team
  • Service Providers: AWS provides hosting infrastructure (subject to AWS privacy policies)
  • AI Processing: Voice data is processed by AI systems to provide coaching analysis
  • Legal Requirements: If required by law, court order, or government regulation

5. Your Rights and Choices

Access and Deletion

  • You may request a copy of your data by contacting your team administrator
  • You may request deletion of your data by contacting us at privacy@raceaipro.com

Opt-Out

  • Use of RaceAi Radio constitutes consent to voice recording. If you do not wish to be recorded, please do not use the voice communication features.
  • You may disable biometric login at any time through the app

Account Security

  • You can update your password through your team administrator
  • If you suspect unauthorized access, contact your administrator immediately

6. Children's Privacy

RaceAiPro services are intended for professional racing teams and personnel. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If you believe a minor is using our services, please contact us.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
